Puyallup, Washington is the proud new host to a brand new splash pad. Situated less than 50 feet from our front door, we are sure to be frequent visitors this summer.

The “before” shot. Is it just me or does Adam look a bit nervous? |
Eila loves bath time and delights in playing with the running water from the faucet, so we were fairly confident that she would love the splash pad.
|
Things seemed to start off well. |
We might have misjudged her reaction.
|
OhhhhhKay. Maybe not, yet! |
Eila may not be a huge fan of the cold water, just now - but rest assured that the new splash pad will have plenty of other visitors.
|
And this was later in the afternoon when we hoped it would be less busy! |
Thankfully, there is still plenty of green space surrounding our new water park.
|
Loving the traction of this furry green carpet! |
Even the most devoted sun worshipers need to rehydrate eventually - so the evening found us at a favorite local BBQ watering hole - where my baby promptly stole my drink.
|
Bottoms up! |
Ooo, we want to play. Road trip!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the hair Eila is growing ... pretty soon there will be no danger of those externally imposed headbands reshaping her adorable head. Keep smiling! I look forward to holding little Eila again.
